Program Learning Outcomes for the Ph.D. Degree Program in Infrastructure and Environmental Systems

  1. Students will attain educational opportunities in science, engineering and management, culminating in an interdisciplinary research-based Ph.D. in Infrastructure and Environmental Systems.
  2. Students will engage in research on the interface between infrastructure and the environment to promote sustainable economic and social development, as well as policy implications, at the regional and national scale.
  3. Students will pursue their careers as research scientists, resources and systems managers, professional engineers and educators who are capable of advancing knowledge in science, technology and management relevant to infrastructure and environmental systems.
